Chaos Meter is a free browser game that measures how well two people actually know each other. One player secretly rates a situation from 0 to 10; the other tries to guess that number. Points come from how close the guess lands.
Why it exists. Most party games ask you to do something — a dare, a confession, a performance. Chaos Meter asks you to predict instead: “How much would this actually bother them?” More often than not, the argument afterwards is better than the game itself.
How it works. No account, no download, no game data on a server. Player names, scores and the cards you have already played stay in your browser’s own storage. The only personal data that reaches us is the email address attached to a pack purchase — kept so we can send your key again if you lose it.
Near or far. The pass-and-play mode is for two people in the same room. The challenge mode is not: one player rates the situations, sends a link, and the other plays from wherever they are. It makes Chaos Meter work for long-distance couples and friends who don’t live in the same place.
The cards. The base game ships with 144 free situation cards and 40 penalty cards. Extra packs are optional one-time purchases, and each license key can be activated up to 30 times.
